Since 1946, Church World Service has worked in over 30 countries with local partners to end hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world. They focus on six key issues: Hunger and Malnutrition; Emergencies; Refugees; Immigration; Children; and Water. This organization stands up for the world’s most vulnerable people, especially women and children. CWS believes that these mothers and children are innately resilient. They should be able to use those qualities not just to survive, but also to thrive.
